My client is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to manage the complete finance function in their well established and successful company based in the heart of Rochdale

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all Accounts work and all related Administration tasks. As it is a smaller office environment, you must have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work to be able to cover off multiple duties as required

Key responsibilities;

  • Invoice processing and reconciliation across Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Bank and Cash reconciliation
  • Credit Control duties including cash allocation
  • VAT returns - full production and submission
  • Payroll duties across weekly and monthly paid staff
  • Month End procedures
  • Ad hoc Administration work as required

You must be self-motivated and be able to work under minimal supervision

The client offers a relaxed working environment with onsite parking available

Excellent working hours - Monday - Thursday 9am - 4.30pm and Friday 9am - 1pm
