Our client who are a Travel Management Company are looking for a Business Travel Consultant to join their friendly team in Central Bristol

You will be working Monday - Friday 9am - 5.15pm and receive a salary of £19,000 - £22,000

Previous experience of using Amadues system would be an advantage

This is an exciting opportunity where you can make this role you own. You will be providing an excellent booking service to customers, maximising revenue whilst ensuring the highest possible levels of customer service.

Main Duties
-To make reservations for flights, hotels and car hire using the Amadeus computerised system.
-To quote and issue published air fares, split ticketing and net fares in Amadeus
-The ability to reissue air tickets using ticket changer and using manual fare entries.
-Book low cost carriers via the internet and add passive sectors in Amadeus
-Book hotels and flights with preferred suppliers.
-Quote book and issue UK rail travel using the Evolvi rail system
-Quote book and issue rail journeys outside of the UK with preferred suppliers
-Advise visa requirements and use preferred supplier to process any applications.
-To comply with company procedures as detailed in QSS achieving a high level of customer service standard.
-Maintain good contact with clients by telephone, letter, E-mail and personal contact.
-Receive client reservation request by telephone, fax, E-mail and take extreme care in understanding the exact requirements and personally double check the offer matches their request.
-Ensure invoices issued correctly and distributed according to client instructions as per profile.
-Ensure complete accuracy when entering management statistical information and amending any errors quickly.
-Accurately process refunds and double check with a colleague to ensure the same opinion is reached. Add refund details to PNR for traceability records.
-Report any equipment errors with speed to your Team leader/Manager.
-Receive complaints & advise Team leader/Manager for guidance.
-Attend promotional activities where possible and team meetings.
