Purchase Ledger Clerk £16500 +

Our client, a market leading retailer, has an immediate requirement for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small Purchase Ledger team.

Duties will include the matching, batching and inputting of invoices and credit notes onto a bespoke system and once authorised assisting in the preparation of weekly payment runs. You will also be dealing with suppliers to resolve a variety of queries including those relating to pricing or delivery issues and inputting data onto Excel and maintaining and balancing the batch book.

Previous purchase ledger experience is essential as are effective Word and Excel skills and a great telephone manner.

This role would really suit someone who loves getting their head down within a busy office and working within purchase ledger.
