Graduate PR Trainee
Graduate Trainee Public Relations Account Executive required for a busy and involving role. There is great scope for progression in this highly professional and successful agency. You must have a 2:1 or first class degree in any discipline and be able to demonstrate clearly why you are genuinely focused on a career with PR. A keen interest in current affairs and politics is essential. You will be very hardworking and keen to climb the career ladder. Excellent writing skills and a flair for communication is essential.
Specific duties include:
* Liaise with clients and other stakeholders across a range of industries
* Write press features and press releases to an extremely high standard
* Liaise with the media, organise meetings and help to develop positive relationships
* Carry out research and get involved in political engagement
*Use your persuasive skills to "sell in" press releases to the media
* Handle telephone enquiries
*Deal with administrative tasks
*Assist in organising press events and attend exhibitions
*Design communications for a range of consultations including web based and social media activity
*Liaison on a national and international basis
Salary: 17,000 - 18,000 depending upon experience. For any graduates who can offer previous PR experience then the salary would go up to 21,000 or 22,000. Additional benefits are offered on top of the basic salary.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm with some occasional need to work beyond this depending upon workload.
