A leading facilities and service management company and part of a highly successful business services group is seeking an Interim Commercial Performance Manager to join their growing team on a flagship project expected to last two years (with the potential of the role becoming permanent). You will be part of a new team to work with both internal and external stakeholders of the businesses to influence, monitor and deliver excellent commercial performance.

  • Manage the day to day interaction with external stakeholders regarding commercial strategy including weekly discussions regarding pricing and product strategy and tactical considerations
  • Work with internal stakeholders to devise a strategic and tactical actions to influence commercial performance, particularly alongside a Sales and Marketing Manager to develop strategic and tactical plans for Sales and Marketing activity including proactive and reactive activity
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders, develop a three year strategic plan to drive commercial performance
  • The setting and implementation of a Sales Plan, seeking opportunities to over deliver and highlighting areas of concern
  • Develop a detailed weekly and monthly reporting against this plan
  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of sales and marketing activity to demonstrate success and make informed investment decisions
  • Take ownership of financial performance and reporting, monitoring and challenging monthly financial performance. Provide internal financial reporting including variance to budgets
  • Take a lead role in the setting of annual budgets, seeking opportunities to over deliver and highlighting areas of concern
  • Provide detailed forecasting on a range of metrics
  • Develop detailed commercial modelling to explore and compare options for future commercial development

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Proven competency of working in a highly analytical and commercial environment
  • A proven track record of delivering against targets
  • Experience of working in partnership commercial relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
