Junior Mechanical Building Services Project Engineer
Our client is a particularly long established and respected building services Mechanical and Electrical Contractor. Their business extends across several streams and they typically undertake projects to about £5 million in building services value.
They are currently looking to recruit a Junior Building Services Project Engineer. Our client place an emphasis upon location and are looking for someone within an hour maximum travel time of their head office which is in Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire.
Ideally our client are looking for a graduate or minimum HNC qualified engineer. Crucially, it is very important that you have a minimum of six months recent and relevant building services experience, ideally with a contractor. Our client will consider applicants without this but only if they have a degree in building services engineering, unfortunately a qualification in mechanical engineering alone will not be adequate unless supported by additional Building Services experience.
This is a particularly interesting and encompassing project engineering role which will involve taking building services installation projects from inception to completion and handover. Our client will provide full support and the prospects to progress to a Project Management role and beyond that are excellent. You will be involved in design, procurement, all aspects of project management, client liaison and commissioning supervision, basically everything required to take a Building Services Design and Build project to successful completion and ensure it progresses to budget, timescale and quality standard.
Our client are involved with a range of sectors and their building services installations are carried out on commercial office buildings, government buildings, theatres, galleries, data centres etc. They work both for main contractors and end user clients.
This is an excellent Junior Engineer role for someone who is specifically building services focused, and who wants to develop their career in the Mechanical Building Services Engineering Field. The role will involve working both at our clients's office and on site.
