My client is a family run business that are rapidly expanding and looking for a Trading Manager - Beauty to come and join their team. Involved is travel across the Far East, Europe and America. They are looking for someone with strong negotiating skills, fast paced, quick thinker and previously experience within a trading environment is also a bonus.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, we are looking for a passionate Trading Manager to work with our Professional Haircare division to develop new, and partner with existing, health and beauty product suppliers to create successful strategic partnerships, helping drive company growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing dynamic business with customers and suppliers all over the world. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing long-term relationships with suppliers, directly impacting company turnover and profit. You will work closely with your supplier network to understand market trends and to ensure we have competitive cost prices.
We are looking for a dynamic self-starter; articulate with excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships within the Retail environment.
Trading Manager - Beauty profile;
*At least 2 years' experience working within a trading role, preferably within the health and beauty market
*Has consistently demonstrated developed analytic, decision making and negotiation skills
*Can build and maintain strong, long lasting supplier relationships
*Bristol based, or commutable, with driver's license
*Identify, develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships
*Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings
*Develop deep and thorough understanding of price and availability of marketed products in both national and international markets
*Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market supplier
*Communicate and report clearly the progress of relationship development to company directors
