Account Manager - Senior Account Manager - Pharmaceuticals

This role leads the company's pharmaceutical sales account management team ensuring successful delivery of the strategic plan.
You will be driving forward strategic sales growth through a deep understanding of Fleet and our clients customers and the market they operate in - UK and worldwide pharmaceutical, medical device and cosmetic classified products.
You will need to provide, challenge and support the sales team through this exciting period of growth to create a highly motivated, high performing, award winning team. This role will be responsible for recruiting, managing and developing the Pharmaceutical Sales Account Management Team.

This is a salaried position paying up to £52,000 with a £4k car allowance. 70% of the role will be office based however successful applicants will be expected to travel onto client site from time to time. There are some other great benefits which include Family medical cover.

Experiences and requirements...

- Managing specific sales accounts, driving sales growth and profitability.
- Taking full P&L responsibility for all relevant accounts.
- Evidence of full ownership of relevant customer(s) strategy.
- Evidence of leading, developing and motivating a team of Toiletry Sales Account Managers.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
- Results orientated and organised with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
- Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals
- Proven analytical problem solving skills
- Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including Excel skills (analysis, pivot table, formulas) and PowerPoint
- Ability to form and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Pro-active, highly professional communication skills
- Positive, confident and determined approach
