Sheridan Maine Finance & Accountancy has been chosen to exclusively recruit a permanent Accounts Assistant role for a non-profit organisation on the outskirts of Portsmouth.

Our client is a successful non profit organisation with a creative approach. Due to a recent resignation, we are supporting the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join a small and stable finance team. As an Accounts Assistant you will report to Finance Manager. Duties include:

- Weekly bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices from receipt, coding matching and batching.
- Resolve queries via phone and email.
- Process credit card payments.
- Process expenses.
- Deal with queries via email, mail and phone, internally and externally.
- Monitor and reconcile purchase ledger.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Positive attitude.
- Confident telephone manner.
- AAT qualified advantageous but not essential.
