Communications and Digital Marketing Lead My client is a growing niche software business Reading based, seeking a Digital Marketing Lead to join a growing team who will help contribute to ambitious goals. Day to day management of marketing function for B2B online software business Key Responsibilities Planning:Develop a communications and marketing plan inline with business plan Identify effective multi-channel marcomms approaches to reach key audiences and deliver targeted outcomesCreate innovative content for marketing around product launches, work with product teams and with external design teams on new product / launches Planning and executing digital communications and campaigns to support the roll out and development of the business Devise a targeted events schedule that reflects key business sector needs Create and manage SEO campaigns including PPC and social media to maximise brand awareness and ROIAn understanding of SEO and how to create great campaigns is essential Delivery:Develop high-impact marketing collateral and oversee designDraft high-quality communications contentImprove website UX and content to support the delivery of the communications and marketing plan Work with senior colleagues on managing relationships with key industry partnersCo-ordinate the delivery of sector-specific contentManage relevant budgets, liaising with senior colleagues to ensure overall value for money Track and monitor marcomms outcomes, identifying areas for additional or different activities to improve effectiveness and value for moneyMonitor competitors and industry trends, provide summaries for senior colleaguesAnalyse ROI and effectiveness of the marketing campaigns Management:Manage a team of up to 3 marketers The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in digital marketing, and possess the following skills and experience: Multichannel marketing experience, ideally in B2B software Developing marketing content and campaignsExcellent knowledge of online marketing, web design, paid search and SEO Ability to analyse information, plan and multi-task - with attention to detail in all activity areasWeb analytics experience (e.g. Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Google Trends). Confident Self-Starter
