The UK operation of this highly successful global manufacturing organisation now requires a BIM Integration Manager who will engage with architects, consultants and contractors to champion the implementation and development of BIM integration solutions and increase specification activity through the management of specifier relationships, to ensure the continued usage of BIM integration solutions.

The Role:
Reporting directly to the UK Specification Director, as the BIM Integration Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • leading the adoption of BIM related solutions across all key specifier groups, working closely with stakeholders to encourage widespread usage, leading to increased specification
  • developing relationships with architects, developers and main contractors in order to secure adoption of scheduling / BIM integration solutions
  • driving thought-leadership throughout the UK market, becoming a recognised authority on BIM deployment
  • developing comprehensive market understanding through active participation, the development of stakeholder relationships and the interpretation of requirements
  • driving forward the development and implementation of BIM activity across the UK business, working cohesively with the various internal business units
  • providing market feedback and insight to enhance future decision making
  • providing comprehensive and accurate forecasting and recording all project and contract data on a timely and precise basis

The Candidate:
Ideally of graduate standard, from within an engineering, manufacturing or architectural design related discipline, candidates will be required to demonstrate that they have:

  • a proven understanding of Building Information Modelling
  • experience and knowledge of the construction industry and associated markets
  • experience of developing strong commercial relationships with architects, specifiers, contractors and property developers
  • experience of utilising BIM within a proactive business development setting
  • experience of using MS applications and design software such as Autodesk Revit

In addition, candidates should also be willing to demonstrate that they:

  • are a pro-active, hands-on type individual who demonstrates initiative and has a positive and professional attitude
  • are a strong capable leader, with the presence and ability to communicate, motivate and influence at the highest level
  • have solid communication and presentation skills
  • have strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the capability of delivering results

Able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team, you should be an organised, and confident individual, who is hands on, solutions driven and has excellent attention to detail.
