The Company

I am delighted to be working on this role on behalf of my client. This is a practice based role and the vacancy has opened up due to expansion & they're looking for an experienced individual in Practice to assist with a busy workload.

The Role

Preparation and submission of accounts for Self-Assessment

Preparation and submission of accounts for limited companies

Preparation and submission of accounts for VAT returns

Registering clients for Self-Assessment Being responsible for a large portfolio of clients

Liaising with clients via email and telephone

Liaising with HMRC Use of Iris and Sage software Bank and credit card reconciliation

Analysing Financial Data High volume data input

General Administrative duties

The Person

This position requires the ideal candidate to handle confidential information appropriately, be able to multi-task.

With regards to experience it will be important to hold or be studying an accounting qualification, must have a minimum of two years experience of working in practice although industry will not be discounted. Applications are welcome from individuals with experience of accounts looking to develop their skills in practice.

It will be helpful to have a good knowledge of Sage, a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook Experience as well as using Iris accounting system

This is a full time permanent position starting immediately. You will be rewarded an attractive salary of £18,000-£23,000 based on experience. Working hours are 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
