We are looking to recruit a permanent Business Developmemt Manager. The main purpose of this role will be achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making telephone calls, web demos, working with partners, generating interest, understanding clients’ needs and closing sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities and work warm leads through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls
  • Work closely with the outside sales team and Head of New Business
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales and achieve targets
  • Research accounts, identify key decision makers and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects
  • Build pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

Knowledge/Experience required:

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Understanding of the apprenticeship sector
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
