Assistant Headteacher Specification

The successful Assistant Headteacher will be able to build strong relationships with all staff and pupils and have the skills to consistently deliver `Outstanding` lessons. You will have the ability to make a positive contribution to the development of the school. The perfect Assistant Headteacher will be able to work cohesively with governors for the greater good of the school. You will have a passion for a child-centred curriculum and have the ability to motivate colleagues and pupils alike.

About the Assistant Headteacher role

As an Assistant Headteacher at this school you will be concerned with the running and management of the school and you will be developing strategies to improve attainment across the school. Your Assistant Headteacher role will be split between teaching a 0.4 timetable and taking on a non-teaching leadership role. In this Assistant Headteacher post you will be setting time aside to run regular and ongoing mentoring sessions that will give your staff a safe space to offer any ideas or problems they might have.
