Viking Cruises offers a choice of award-winning cruise options via our successful Viking River Cruises and Viking Ocean Cruises operations. We are the world’s largest river cruise line with over 65 river ships offering the greatest choice of accommodation and itineraries across Europe, Russia, China and Southeast Asia.

In 2015, we introduced small ship ocean cruising to our portfolio and now boast two of the most beautiful ships at sea, Viking Star and Viking Sea. New ships are already being built taking the ocean fleet up to five ships in total by the end of 2017. Along with an ever-expanding choice of itineraries - including our recently launched Around the World cruise - we are on course to become as successful on the ocean as we are on the river. All of which means a world of opportunities opening up for charismatic, passionate individuals with a love for great customer service and excellent earning potential.

We currently have vacancies for experienced sales people in both our River and Ocean sales teams based in our newly refurbished offices in Wimbledon Parkside. You don’t have to have travel industry or cruise experience for the river roles as we will train you comprehensively in all of Viking’s river products. However, for the ocean sales team, we do need people with solid experience of selling ocean cruises specifically.

Convert inbound telephone river/ocean enquires in to sales
Use your expert product knowledge to assist customers with suggestions and ideas on itineraries and products within the Viking river/ocean portfolio
Check availability and price, attempting to close the sale on every opportunity
Provide excellent service to the customer in every contact and context
Work as part of a close-knit team with the opportunity to have your creative ideas for improving sales heard in a supportive environment and directly contribute to your success, that of your team and of the company as a whole.

A competitive salary package - basic salary (£18k) plus uncapped commission (£45k OTE)
