This Sales Manager position is a first-rate opportunity for an experienced and talented sales leader, who comes from an investment property background (ideally), to join an established and successful investment firm.

You will manage a sales team of Investment Consultants of up to 10. You and your team will be selling carefully selected UK investment properties to private investors.
Your job is to get the most out of your team and to motivate and inspire to get them performing at their best. You’ll want them to smash their sales targets and adhere to best practice and company standards. You will do this by coaching, mentoring as well as selling yourself and leading by example.
Your position will be integral to driving the growth and ongoing success of the company. This is a high-profile role where you’ll be relied on by company directors as well as your team.
In sum, you will:
- Manage, lead and inspire a sales team of up to 10 people
- Train and coach your team on how to close and sell better
- Lead from the front and sell yourself
- Fill your consultants with confidence and keep them happy
- Listen to calls and read emails to investors to see how your team can improve
- Give property market training
- Carry out individual appraisals and flag weaknesses and strengths
- Have Monday morning meetings to fire and motivate your sales team
You should ideally come from a property investment sales background. You’ll know the industry and how property investors think and what they want. As this is a sales leader role, you will be comfortable selling by example, making your own deals and showing your team how it’s done. You’ll be target driven and constantly striving for personal and team excellence. Energy, enthusiasm and having an upbeat positive attitude will come naturally to you.
You’ll love selling and be able to demonstrate confident probing and closing skills. With your team management experience, you will be tuned into your team’s individual and group abilities - helping their weaknesses and praising their strengths.
Leading from the front requires confidence, respect as well as warmth and approachability. You will be smart and take pride in your appearance - remember that your team will be following your example. It goes without saying that you’ll need to have good IT skills and be comfortable with CRM systems, databases and compiling and analysing data.
On offer is a competitive salary of £50,000 pa plus commission (£100,000 OTE) earnt from your own sales plus an override on the sales team’s performance. You’ll receive an intensive training programme and have the opportunity to build your own investment portfolio.
