Our client has a new opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy, well established team in Kettering.
Day to day credit control - a substantial amount of our income is taken by direct debit on a contractual basis so it would be useful if the candidate has worked for a company that has operated contracts.
Creating direct debit runs
Manually creating consolidated invoices on Excel
Running off invoices and statements from the system
Liaising with staff member on all levels of the business
Petty cash management
Management of staff expenses
Management of daily rental damage claims
Assisting with holiday cover across the accounts department.
Management of customers in administration
2 years experience in credit control which includes dealing with companies going into liquidation,
Excellent communication skills
IT literate with advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, filtering, pivots).
Having the confidence and initiative and look at and improve existing systems and procedures
Self-motivated, very well organised and punctual.
This is a permanent role that is based upon full time hours working 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday (1 hour for lunch).
