Residential Property Solicitor - Path To Partnership & Own Office

A regional firm with a very solid reputation is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join its growing practice at a senior level and head up the firms' established Residential Property which is based at the firms' Wolverhampton office.

The firm can trace its roots well over a century and is able to boast a very rich heritage. Notwithstanding its traditions, it is renowned as a forward thinking and innovative practice that invests heavily in technology and was one of the first firms in the area to take advantage of the ABS and amalgamate with a property services business.

The practice is keen to hear from an experienced residential conveyancing solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE. You will have experience of dealing with the full remit of residential conveyancing matters and will also have some experience, or will be keen to be exposed to, high value property transactions given that the firm has a very broad client base which comprises some high net worth clients.

You will join the team in a Head of Department capacity and will supervise a small team of support staff. As such you will be expected to be a technical referral point to more junior members and have a very solid skill set to enable you to work un-supervised.

Whilst there will be scope for business development and marketing opportunities, this is something for the long term as you will inherit an existing client base that is very well established. There is also scope for progression to the partnership in the medium term as the firm already has one eye on succession planning.

The firm not only offers a competitive salary and benefits package but boasts a low attrition rate. Indeed, this role has opened due to the present incumbent approaching retirement.

This practice encompasses the very best aspects of a traditional practice, providing a very supportive and relaxed environment and you would have your own office and secretarial support so this is the perfect opportunity for an experienced residential property solicitor who wants a return to a traditional way or working at a firm which is a world away from a high volume operation.
