The salary package is up to £50,000k + company car, 10% bonus + corporate benefits package. The role is predominately based at our Telford, Shropshire HQ but will also include business travel as and when required.

As part of our growth plan we are looking to recruit a Category Manager to manage our Hygiene, PPE and Industrial Packaging sectors. From hard hats, to cleaning fluids and corrugated roll to pallet wrap! We are looking for an experienced and motivated Category Manager who is looking to progress their career as part of a rewarding, fast moving and dynamic Marketing Team. On a wider scale, you will be part of a fantastically ethical business who really cares about the people inside and outside of the business we work in.
There will be a strong customer centric approach in the role, you will be responsible for delivering the strategic and tactical plans for your Category to ensure growth and to exceed the general market trends. This means you will challenge the ‘norm’ within the business with ‘out of the box’ creativity to bring new products or services to market and develop strategies to maximise sales of existing products within your category.
As well as being up to date with market evolutions, trends and your competition, you will be expected to develop strong commercial relationships across all Sales Divisions to maintain the key link between Marketing and Sales.
Optimising spend and negotiating the buying conditions, will also be an integral part of roles responsibilities.
To be successful and develop in this role, we require an individual that;
- Develops excellent business relationships at all levels of contact.
- University degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics or Business.
- Is an experienced Category Manager within Commercial environment.
- Excellent proven negotiating skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and ‘Project Manage’.
- Is available to travel in line with business requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
