Delegate Sales Executive
Location: Rural Sevenoaks-Own transport essential
Salary-£16k-£18k OTE £22K-£25K

Our client a leading B2B Media company based on the rural outskirts of Sevenoaks requires a Delegate Sales Executive for their growing and successful team. You will be working on established b2b industry events aimed at the top third of the management pyramid communicating with C-suite/ senior level directors.

Job role:
In line with the overall objectives set by the Sales Director, embark on a sales campaign to achieve targets for each event that the client offers. This will be done through a combination of activities including use of the telephone, social media, face-to-face and converting incoming enquiries. The main purpose of the role is to generate sales and bookings, through cold-calling and follow up of in-coming leads.
Main Duties
• Achieving sales targets across a number of events
• Relationship building and strong communication skills are essential
• Ability to research your own prospects through LinkedIn and other online channels to build a comprehensive sales pipeline. Using our CRM system to enhance existing relationships and develop new ones
• Maintaining and growing your knowledge of your market, clients and developments in the market sector
• To represent the brands at all times, through both verbal and written communication

Key Skills and Requirements:
• Ideal candidates could be a business undergraduate or similar wanting to gain an insight into both sales and marketing.
• Enthusiastic, driven and a 'can-do’ attitude
• Creative approach necessary with the ability to research and source your own leads
• Exceptional administration, interpersonal and organisational skills
• A commercial understanding and acumen, including monitoring competitor’s events
• Ability to work under pressure and go the extra mile to deliver results
• A strong communicator, both written and verbal
• A quick learner with intellectual curiosity and who is able to understand different markets and subject matter quickly
• Determined and highly organised sales attitude
