Payroll Officer

£18000 - £20000 DOE

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced payroll officer to join a dynamic and well established Friendly company in Liverpool.

Main Responsibilities

  • To ensure All Payroll’s are ran on time

  • Take full responsibility for your allocated client’s payroll, whether they are weekly or monthly paid.

  • To produce payslips and payroll analyses

  • Run month end and year end procedures

  • Produce NI and Inland Revenue reports

  • Monitor clients specific requirements

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients

Skills & Experience Required

  • At least 2 years payroll experience

  • Knowledge of auto enrolment

  • Fully up to date with all payroll rules and regulations e.g. : SSP , SMP , SPP

  • Ability to manually calculate NI

  • Experience working in a payroll bureau environment

  • Adaptable to different payroll software : The People’s Pension , Nest , Now and Aviva

  • Experience in creating and uploading CSV files

  • Ability to use excel un aided

  • Highly organised and ability to priorities and plan work loads

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment with great attention to detail
