Registered Home Manager – Children Residential


Full time

This multi sited service care provider works with challenging behaviour, autism, learning disabilities who provide a range of care to young adults.

This care provider seek to provide high quality residential living for children and young people. Due to expansion they are looking for a forward thinking registered home manager to be part of a lovely children residential setting.


Experience dealing with developing, implementing and reviewing care plans.

Safeguard the young people and making them feel secure

Leadership and management experience dealing with staff

Implement and identify staff training and development.

Experience with recruitment and induction of new staff

Candidate Skills:

Excellent communication skills

Safeguard children, young people, and venerable adults

Budgeting skills

Experience working with challenging behaviour, autism, and learning disabilities

Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce/Residential Childcare (or above)

Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People's Services) or a recognised Social Work qualification

2 years' experience working within a residential

Experience leading, developing and motivating a team

A good understanding and knowledge of current legislation and OFSTED requirements

Enhanced DBS – Desirable

Driver – Desirable

Salary & Benefits

£27,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on Experience)
