The Opportunity

Macildowie Marketing are currently recruiting for an external communications specialist to join a successful B2C company based in Nottinghamshire. You will be working closely with the marketing and operations departments with a goal to increase the volume of new customers for the business as well as focusing on improving the quality of referrals via the website.

The communications specialist will be responsible for reviewing the current customer journey and looking for any gaps or areas for improvement with customer communication and engagement. From these gaps, the communications specialist can use the available tools and resources to make improvements.

Tasks will also include re-writing all customer contact methods such as emails, texts and letters, as well as looking closely into the current marketing methods used to attract customers including via the website.

Key Skills & Experience

This job would suit an experienced communications professional who can demonstrate success in engaging and increasing customers/clients via various marketing and communication channels so good copywriting skills will be essential. You will need to able to understanding the psychology of customers to increase engagement and using this as a tool to improve existing communications. This successful candidate will be driven and motivated to make a difference and have strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
