Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for the strategic resource within your own category. You will manage pricing from distribution, gain external exposure through supplier/vendor visits and negotiate deals/offers. You will educate and coach internal sales teams with product knowledge, gain a market awareness for your category and be the 'go to person' and guru for your category for internal sales and key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have Procurement experience, preferably in IT. You will be a proficient Microsoft office user and be able to manage large workloads and work to tight deadlines.
