Travel Sales Consultant
£18,000 basic OTE £45,000 - £50,000

Shift work - router basis 5 days over 7 days

Carlton Recruitment is pleased to announce that our client is currently seeking three Sales Consultants to join their team based in Wimbledon. Using your sales skills and experience, you will convert enquiries to bookings, making sure that agreed targets are achieved, whilst ensuring that exceptional customer service is given at all times. Your role will include:

  • Converting enquiries into sales, delivering exceptional customer service, matching products and service to the customer needs
  • Using expert knowledge assist customers with suggestions and ideas on itineraries & products

Key Responsibilities

  • Converting inbound telephone enquires in to sales
  • Using your expert product knowledge to assist customers with suggestions and ideas on itineraries and products within the portfolio
  • Checking availability and price, attempting to close the sale on every opportunity
  • Providing excellent service to the customer in every contact and context
  • Working as part of a close-knit team with the opportunity to have your creative ideas for improving sales heard in a supportive environment and directly contribute to your success, that of your team and of the company as a whole

Personal Specification

  • The ideal candidate will have a background in travel related Sales (essential)
  • Natural at selling and someone who enjoys and is excited by the sales journey
  • Participative and an involved team player
  • Infectious enthusiasm for the companies products
  • Innovative and independent
