An exciting position exists in our London office for an experienced Senior Account Executive/Business Developer within our Professional Indemnity team.

A Senior Account Executive/Business Developer acts as a senior liaison between clients and/or producing brokers and placing brokers to ensure new business, renewal and mid-term requirements are fully understood and best met through the provision of suitable cover, appropriate pricing and efficient servicing.

Risks/accounts assigned to the role holder are often higher value, importance, complex, requiring advanced/greater depth of expertise than those handled by more junior roles in client services.

The ideal candidate will ideally have the following skills and knowledge:

Advanced understanding general & legal principles of insurance.

Understanding London market operations.

Business Development experience.

Advanced understanding of the regulatory environment and requirements.

Specific Product area knowledge and in depth understanding of related wordings.

Good understanding of company objectives and how own role contributes to these.

Subject matter expertise in respect of the market within which the company operates including an awareness of competitors, specific territory knowledge, cultural awareness.
