This position will be based in Sheffield however as this is a Float role you will need your own transport to you are able to work from various office locations in Sheffield, Dronfield & Bakewell.

It is essential that candidates are flexible with regards to which office they are based at on a weekly basis.

Working for various teams within a high volume residential conveyancing environment, you should be able to:

-Efficiently and diligently deal with Exchanges and completions

-Submit searches and complete Land Registry Applications

- Complete various forms and documents

Experience required:

Your experience must be in Residential Property law. Previous assistant experience is essential for this role ideally gained within a busy property environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and IT skills with the ability to prepare completion statements and accounts.

Daily responsibilities will include answering calls from clients and dealing with their enquiries both face to face and over the telephone, dealing with exchanges and completions. The successful candidate will be organised, work well under pressure and have the ability hit the ground running in order to assist multiple teams with their demanding case load and in the absence of their dedicated Legal Assistant due to annual leave and other absence.

- Ability to hit the ground running in various teams and at short notice.

-Ability to deal with property matters at all stages in the transaction from exchange to conclusion.

-Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable key skills and experiences:

-Experience of working as an Assistant or Paralegal in a Conveyancing environment.

-Ability to draft non -legal correspondence.

- Ability to manage and organise large volumes of documents.

-Confident in use of email and other systems in daily work.

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Aim Evolution accounting package & OMS document management
