Located in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside our client is an international business looking to hire a Finance Manager who knows what "best in class" finance function looks like for an international business.

In short, your day to day responsibilities are:
- Managing a finance team of 8.
- Delivering month end, clean audit and statutory accounts.
- Optimise and manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
- Ensuring robust internal controls and governance.

What you really need to want to do is get stuck into the way finance operates, review the controls in place and implement better ones, look at the way the team operate and up skill them.

A genuine opportunity for promotion exists for the right applicant upon delivery of a "best in class" finance function.

The Person:
This may suit a qualified accountant with a background in Audit given the robust controls environment our client is looking to create.
It's essential the applicants is fully qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) with industry experience gained in a similar role for an international business.
Applicants must have experience of managing a team.Applicants must have experience of multi-currency accounting.
Applicants must have demonstrable experience of optimising transactional process ( AR & AP)
