My client is looking for a Financial Administrator to bring on board to provide support to both the Paraplanner and Financial Adviser. The successful Financial Administrator will be the main point of contact for all clients. The Financial Administrator must also ensure an effective running of the business and have an understanding of the overall financial planning process. Some travel may be required between Tewkesbury and Clevedon offices.

Salary: £16-18k depending upon experience

Responsibilities:

Providing support to the Adviser and Paraplanner

Completing valuation reports to issue to clients

Processing new business from start to finish

Actively managing diary tasks

Answering telephone queries from clients and providers

Preparing client meeting packs

Commission entry

Sourcing product quotations and assisting in the research process

Maintaining client relationships

Skills:

Computer literate

Experience of working within an IFA Practice (at least 1 year)

Good communication skills

Professional attitude

Ability to manage time effectively

Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales

Education:

GCSE Maths & English above C grade

Financial services qualifications (desirable)
