Head chef- Events
My amazing high end client has askd me to search the market for a Head Chef with events background,or a senior sous chef looking to step up to Head Chef.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to join this amazing events company which is work on large events and caters for parties of 800 plus so a Chef from a event company would be most suited to the role.
As the Head Chef you will oversee the general running of the kitchen, you will need to be extremely organised and produce a large number of covers twice a day so the ability to lead the brigade whilst making sure all paper work is up to date and manage the kitchen is paramount. The ideal candidate will from a similar venue or a hotel that delivers high volume whilst maintaining high standards.
Essential skills required are management skills, menu development, costings and all paper work associated with running a professional kitchen. You will be a good motivator and a great leader passing on skills and knowledge to junior members of the brigade.
