Newly created opportunity due to expansion. Genuine employer of choice, progressive organisation who value their employees. Principally this role will lead the purchase and subcontract ledger teams (5 staff) ensuring that relationships (externally and internally) are maintained.
As a direct report to the Head of Finance this role will also cover ad hoc tasks and work alongside other managers within the finance team to ensure that the team working culture is continually developed.
Applicants must have experience of managing a team as this is a significant part of the role, you will also have relevant purchase and subcontractor ledger experience, these are busy ledgers and the successful appointee must be able to hit the ground running.
Of equal importance however is your personality, the role will be expected to be an ambassador for finance out in the business, challenging and working with senior non financial colleagues; your ability to engage with these people and ensure their buy in is pivotal to the success of the role.
A shirt sleeves, team playing mentality is required.
