We are looking to appoint an experienced Financial Accountant Team Leader. You will be responsible for the day to day management of people, finance, information, resources and projects. You will produce the statement of accounts in line with government requirements and CIPFA codes of practice, in addition to preparing financial information for the setting of the council tax levy. You will support the development of the medium term financial plan, in addition to preparing and coordinating the delivery of the capital strategy and 5 year capital focused programmes. Within the role you will provide Housing Revenue Account financial management, complete all statutory returns, as well as supporting and delivering the budget setting cycle within the financial framework of the medium term financial plan. It is also envisaged that you will support the coordination of budget monitoring of forecasting during the course of the financial year and undertake regular reconciliation of all control accounts and bank statements.
The successful candidate must be an exceptional professional with ambition and drive, who shares the organisations values and passion. It is essential that you are a fully qualified CCAB accountant.
