A growing and highly regarded accountancy practice, based in Burnham-On-Sea, is searching for a qualified ACA / ACCA Client Manager to join their highly successful team managing a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies OMBs in a role and firm providing excellent career progression and development potential.

Joining as Manager, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of non-audit clients, across a range of industry sectors, across OMB Limited companies, sole-traders and partnerships/LLPs in a client facing role, building relationships and progressing in your accounting career. You will take full responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients delivering the following:
Hands on accounts preparation for complex cases and larger clients, review and management of delivery of quality service to wide ranging clients, liaising with clients, providing guidance and managing client expectations
Organising and running all accounting assignments for the portfolio, tax, bookkeeping, VAT HMRC liaison and filing
Supervising and reviewing staff output, and providing help and guidance to more junior staff
Identifying opportunities for planning work across accounting and tax services, working across the team to deliver on a wide range of project work.
You will be ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or suitably qualified by experience, with significant relevant experience, in an accountancy practice background, at, or close to Manager level, as a Client Manager, ideally with client portfolio management responsibility and experience. You will have good technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance. You will also have supervisory experience of accounts staff and be able to demonstrate the skills to develop relationships with clients and promote the development of your portfolio. Circa £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience, level and post qualified length of time, plus benefits, negotiable.
