An award winning events specialist is recruiting a Sales Co-ordinator to help manage their existing customer base, as well as identifying prospective opportunities in order to help gain maximum profitability. This is a maternity cover and the role is part time at 21 hours per week, flexi-time.

The company.

This global events and conference specialist work in the science and not-for-profit sectors and are extremely highly regarded having won several awards for their exceptional service.

The role.

The successful candidate will be developing the sales strategy and co-ordinating the different campaigns to optimize success. The sales co-ordinator will be managing the existing customer base via email, telephone, and face-to-face communications. The successful candidate will be visiting conferences to help promote the organisation’s work to potential new clients. The sales co-ordinator will be writing proposals aimed at on boarding more companies to use the organisation’s events spaces and utilities.

The experience we need.

- Previous sales experience
- Strong relationship handling skills
- Excellent administration skills, particularly excel
- A knowledge of events or the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous but not essential

What you’ll get in return.

A competitive pro-rata salary of £21.5k to £23.5k, three days a week (21 hours), plus an excellent benefits package.  A fantastic additional benefit is that the company has a flexi-time system so the 21 hours work can be divided across the week as you wish.
