An incredibly successful material supply chain company based in Preston are looking for a Production Support Administrator to join their growing business. Priding themselves on being able to deliver materials to their world leading aerospace customers this is an incredible company to be a part of, supporting over 20 countries worldwide!

The main purpose of this role will be to allocate material to production orders in accordance with customers’ requirements. Those with a background in purchasing, procurement, sales administration or production support would find this particularly interesting.

Offering a competitive salary of £19,000 - £20,000 per annum depending upon experience this is a full time, permanent position with working hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am – 4:30pm on Friday.

As the Production Administrator you will be responsible for…
• Allocating material to production orders
• Ensuring the materials approved are in line with the customers’ orders
• Processing purchase orders
• Inventory control, ensuring stock is kept to the necessary level to provide customers with their orders
• Creating delivery notes
• General administration

The Ideal Candidate will be…
• IT Literate, ideally having used SAP (not essential to apply)
• Able to work under their own initiative
• Confident and professional, able to work in a busy environment
