Program and Corporate Governance Manager, High Wycombe: Be a Business Partner to all Project Managers, offering a centre of excellence and define / maintains standards for project management.

Program and Corporate Governance Manager, High Wycombe:

Leading not-for-profit organisation with modern offices, near transport links and offering a fun and progressive work environment


Responsibilities include:

Defining and maintaining standards for the end to end project process

Tracking all potential and current projects, ensuring timely communication that highlights any road blocks/risks/overspends etc.

Compliance with non-financial corporate governance requirements

Timely communication of project risks/overspend/delays

Compliance with non-financial corporate governance requirements

Program Office:

Generate close relationships with all project managers, ensuring that you meet on a regular basis and that you strike an appropriate balance between challenge and support

Work with project managers to ensure adoption of project tools and standards

Tracking projects in terms of spend, delivery deadlines and potential risks

Proactively maintaining rolling project pipeline, with continual 12 month view of potential activity

Facilitating periodic "blue sky" idea sessions with functional heads

Presenting to senior management on project progress, including highlighting road blocks and resource implications

Overseeing the project approval process

Conduct post implementation review with project managers

Adopt a continual improvement approach to all project standards, processes and tools, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and do not stand in the way of business engagement

Corporate Governance:

Tracking and ensuring compliance with all non-financial corporate governance, which includes but is not limited to:

Contract governance

Companies House filling and record requirements

Compliance with Articles of Association

Running Board elections

Program and Corporate Governance Coordinator:

Manage priorities and give day to day support

Perform annual appraisals and set development plans


Educated to degree level or equivalent

Project management qualification would be an advantage

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience of international and cross-cultural working

Experience working in a service-oriented organization with demanding customers

Able to work under own imitative whilst working collaboratively with HoF and key stakeholders

Able to engage at all levels across the business

Commercial acumen

Ability to remain professional and friendly at all times

Work to high standards and adhere to agreed priorities, procedures and processes

Able to deal with ambiguity and change whilst maintaining the tenacity and perseverance required to achieve the required objectives

Flexible and able to deliver pragmatic solutions which work without compromising achievement of objective

Job Offer

Salary of circa £45,000 and excellent package. Additionally the opportunity to achieve a 10% bonus based on company and team performance.
