My client is an extremely well-respected company, offering services in the legal and financial sector.

They’ve been established since 2011 and have offices all around Europe.

They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their friendly and highly successful team based in central London.

What do they do?

They propose translating and interpreting services to Legal and Financial sector in the UK.

They already have an impressive list of clients within law firms, private equity funds, banks, consulting firms....

The role ...

You will be responsible for developing and growing their UK client base.

  • You will acquire new accounts by approaching a defined list of targets through cold calling and warm leads.
  • You will prospect new client through cold calls and leads
  • You will go and meet clients on face-to-face meeting
  • You identify and understand clients need and turn it into sale
  • You will also account manage existing clients
  • You will use their CRM software
  • You will liaise with their Paris'office to make sure translations are delivered to deadline and meet the client’s precise requirement
  • You will attend road show and networking event when necessary
  • You have excellent presentation skills

Who they are looking for?

  • You have business development, sales experience (recruitment, real estate background could be a good fit)
  • You have previous experience in cold calling and prospecting new client
  • You are a natural hunter
  • You are driven by success and reward
  • You are very comfortable dealing with senior executives and lawyers
  • You are a great team player
  • You have a good business sense, strong negotiation skills and a positive attitude.
  • English is your mother tong and ideally, you also speak a bit of French but this is not essential
  • You have excellent presentation skills

Salary is from £35K- £45K base (depends on experience) + uncapped commissions
