Reed are working in partership with a Care at Home Service Client to provide a Service Manager based in Dalkeith, Midlothian. The successful Candidate will have Care at Home and Managerial experience and all interested parties are encouraged to forward a CV at the earleist convenience.

As Services Manager for our Care at Home & Outreach Services in Midlothian, you will be a member of our Client's Senior Management Team and will be responsible for ensuring the best interests of supported individuals consistently remain of paramount consideration for all of their activities in Midlothian.

The Services Manager role is both highly rewarding and challenging.

You will have operational and resource management responsibility for the services and will ensure services provision is outcomes-focused and as personalised as possible; that care and support provided is consistently of the highest possible standards and you will ensure all employees are efficiently deployed, adequately supported, equipped and motivated to perform their respective roles in providing high quality care and support services.

You will be an inspirational leader and an effective manager and will ensure that our services continually evolve and improve in response to the changing needs and aspirations of Supported Individuals and lessons learned from experience and meet and exceed the services’ commissioner and Care Inspectorate expected standards.

You will play a key role in representing our Client in a professional capacity to partner agencies.

Inspiring, developing and managing staff within a human services setting – in services for Individuals who are vulnerable;

· A sound value base in respect of the rights of people within society who are vulnerable and/or have a disability, many of whom have age-related care and support needs; a commitment to these individuals being at the centre of decision-making as far as possible and promoting opportunities for them to live fulfilling lives;

· Positive experience of successfully delivering a similar role, particularly in Care at Home services;

· Able to ensure policies and procedures are implemented in a fair and equitable manner;

· Well developed skills in recognition of potential and in promoting the development of people;

· An understanding of SSSC codes of practice and National Care Standards;

· Positive experience of developing and building meaningful professional relationships with partner agencies and regulators and multi-agency working;

· Positive experience of business development.

Required licences and certifications:
· Registered Managers Award/SVQ Level IV in Care and/or Management
· Access to a car for work purposes
· Driving Licence
