Intermediary Sales Advisor

Location: Brighton

Salary: £25k + £40k OTE

Hours: Full time

My client is looking for a pro-active and sales focused candidate to join their highly professional Intermediary Sales team based in the heart of Brighton.

The role will require you to manage a portfolio of developing brokers, to assist in growing the business in line with agreed targets by expanding and retaining your portfolio.


* Resolving complex queries through to a positive resolution
* Understanding the needs of the broker and taking pro-active action to sell to the broker in line with agreed incentives
* Building profitable relationships with all brokers
* Delivering the highest standard of customer service
* Proactively seeking new opportunities for winning new business and increasing your portfolio
* Managing retention's and renewals
* Confidently deal with pricing discussions and all sales needs through successful negotiation
* Retain group schemes within your portfolio on a timely basis
* Work to set quality and sales targets

The right candidate will have the following:

* Proven sales and account management experience
* Knowledge of insurance, brokers, financial services or a regulated working environment
* Pro-active and self-motivated
* Proven ability to work to sales targets
* Consultative and highly professional
