On-Boarding Advisor

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

Salary- £16,000 - £17,000

Position Summary

You will provide customers with a single point of contact for the on-boarding of their accounts resolving any issues that may arise. This will include;

  • Managing customer enquiries checking documentation is complete for account set-up.

  • Process new account set up and amendments to existing accounts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal areas to ensure new account set ups are done in a timely manner to ensure account set ups are being done correctly in line with agreed turnaround times.

  • Customer facing role to provide the best customer service

  • Ensures high customer satisfaction through a professional, timely and knowledgeable service.

  • Provides a thorough check of the membership paperwork for new accounts.

  • Submit information through in house systems, comfortably and in a timely manner.

  • Processes requests from existing users for account additions/terminations, name changes, product additions etc.

  • Assist with client connectivity setup.

Essential Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Works well under pressure

  • Strong customer-related experience working in the financial or professional services industry.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Good time management and organizational skills.

  • Proficient PC skills, specifically with business-oriented applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to explain situations clearly and concisely to a varied audience.

Desirable Knowledge & Skills:

  • Degree Qualification or experience in a related area

  • Knowledge of financial markets/derivatives
