A successful Financial Services organisation, based in the City, has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Associate to join their team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the organisation, assisting with the delivery of new client business and to work on key business initiatives and projects. Ultimately, you will want to develop a career in financial services and contribute to an exciting and growing business.

Main Duties:

- Handling day to day queries from new and existing clients

- Preparing proposals for new client business

- Preparing documentation and marketing materials for client meetings

- Assisting in the implementation of new institutional client business and working with multiple teams across the business to coordinate delivery of service to the client

- Updating and maintaining the firm’s CRM system

- Preparing service level agreements for clients

- Carrying out industry research to support the team’s market knowledge


- Graduate with 1 -2 years work experience, ideally in a client facing, project management or consultancy role

- Proficient with Excel and Powerpoint

- Demonstrate readiness to adapt to changing work environment / priorities, and a good team player to be willing to cover for other people if needed

- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work within a team

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to deliver in an environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands

- Ability to demonstrate initiative

- Willingness to accept individual responsibility for deliverables
