Salary: £20-35k (£35-50k OTE`s)

Our client is a leading Language Management company who have recently been awarded a place on the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league. To continue to company`s success, they are looking to further grow the business and are looking for a Business Development Manager.

This is a London-based role, focusing on growing the brand. The successful candidate will work by phone and if then will quickly have the opportunity to develop into field sales with international travel. You will be supported by the businesses Marketing team and existing Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Making telephone sales calls to new customers

Providing an exceptional service over the phone and via e-mail, generating leads with new prospects and building relationships

Identifying suitable buyers and new key accounts via professional platforms, research and tradeshows

Meeting potential customers face-to-face and setting up conference calls

Maintaining an up to date record of activity in order to drive the sales process and achieve sales targets

Discussing costs and quoting decisions with prospects and customers

Upselling additional services the business offers and state-of-the-art technology solutions to streamline workflows

Preparing proposals and tender responses

Assisting the Marketing team in creating marketing campaigns

Essential Criteria:

Strong oral and written English skills

Proven experience of working in a B2B sales environment

Proven cold calling experience

Consultative selling experience

Meeting and presentation experience

Proven ability to meet KPI targets

Excellent computer literacy

Hard-working, self-motivated and an interest in career progression

Experience within the language sector would be beneficial
