A fantastic position has arisen for an outgoing, personable and passionate candidate who wants to join an established company known for providing guests with 4 star accommodation and rosette service.
As the Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of three supervisors and a number of waiting staff, so experience in managing a team is essential. You will be required to lead the team by example ensuring high standards are adhered to at all times. We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills who is always willing to go the extra mile for the customers to ensure that they receive the best possible experience.
You should be able to communicate at all levels and have proven experience in dealing with customer feedback. Duties such as helping to cash up and the closing/re-laying of the restaurant will be expected however you will be working as part of a close knit team where everyone assists each other. The successful candidate will have similar fine dining experience and ideally WSET level 2 qualification. Experience in dealing with high numbers of covers is also essential as our client has up to 150 covers in the peak season.
This is a full time role with a varied shift patterns - evenings, weekends and bank holidays are to be expected.
Live in is available for those not located in the area and who might be looking to save costs on travel and rent.
