Business Development Manager - Luton

Key Responsibilities;

  • Develop new relationships in the commercial property and construction sector
  • Source a targeted number of new enquires per month outside of the company's core key accounts
  • Conduct face to face meetings with new clients to maximise opportunities in cross selling the wide range of services on offer
  • Generate leads and research new clients to pinpoint key decision makers to meet and pitch services to increase opportunities within the relevant sectors
  • Re-activating dormant clients and encouraging joint ventures
  • Convert target clients into active prospects in order to increase the company's portfolio
  • Raise the organisations profile as the industry leader by networking
  • Attend related industry networking events and conferences
  • Work closely with account managers, project managers and operations managers to help identify opportunities

Key Skills Required;

  • Experience within the Commercial Property or Construction industry
  • The ability to work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver service level agreements and meet targets
  • Will be a pro-active communicator with good written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to generate leads and build and retain relationships
  • A strong understanding of IT applications
  • Strong IT skills with Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proven track record in negotiating, engaging and developing relationships in person
