Field Sales Business Development Manager

Up to £35,000 DOE + OTE to £70,000 (uncapped) + car or car allowance

As part of our continued growth we are currently looking to appoint another experienced new business sales professional to the position of Field Sales Business Development Manager, a position in which you will be responsible for developing new opportunities and delivering sales of the various IT & Telecom products & solutions within our portfolio, such as mobile, voice & data, managed print services, hosting solutions, IT & cloud services, Office 365, broadband & internet & managed network solutions.

Working out of our Head Office in CityPark Glasgow, the successful applicant will be an experienced face-to-face New Business Sales Professional with sector-relevant experience coupled with a very steady employment history. It will be your main objective to generate sales with companies of all sizes and you will be a solution led sales person who does not always rely on price to sell. This role is primarily focused on new business development and it is suited only to people who are target driven, sales hungry and who can exploit their exceptional new business sales skills to deliver results. You will of course be looked upon to generate self-made opportunities of your own but you will also have extensive assistance from our in-house lead generation team who will supply you with a number of additional appointments as well.

Proven sector-relevant sales & new business development experience is essential to your application, as this role requires you to have extensive knowledge of the products, competitors and the Scottish ICT marketplace in general. You must be very personable, have exceptional communication skills and of course have a full UK driving license. The starting basic salary for this position ranges from £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, with additional on target earnings of £35,000 also available in a commission structure that is completely uncapped. An additional car allowance (or a company car depending on stock availability) and a fuel card or fuel expenses are also included along with a laptop and mobile phone as standard. Your normal hours of work would be Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
