Assistant Vice President (Legal)
A newly created Opportunity for a talented Personal Injury professional has arisen within the 'in-house’ Personal Injury department of a highly regarded insurance organisation. Due to a period of growth the team has created this position to ensure that the improvement of individual and team quality is managed effectively and the company can continue to deliver results.
Your role within the business is to handle your own caseload of personal injury files whilst overseeing the operation of the legal department which in turn will ensure continued success.

To oversee the running and supervision of the organisation in respect of the firm’s Road Traffic accident claims and/or Employer’s Liability, Public Liability or Occupier’s Liability cases.
To assist with business relationships and partnerships where required.
To oversee the progress target achievement of Litigation Executives through their Litigation Managers and to report to the Vice President of Legal on the performance of these with feedback as to how to maintain/improve individual and team quality.
To oversee quality and management of large loss claims ensuring risk management, efficiency and cost effectiveness where possible
To assist in and develop the training program for the organisation
At least 3 years’ management experience within a legal environment, call centre environment or customer focussed operation
Understanding of RTA personal injury claims
Familiarity with protocols and processes for personal injury claims
Experience of supporting junior members of staff
Competence and confidence with Legal Case Management Systems (especially task-based)
