A global leader in the manufacture of car care products.  They have been established for nearly 100 years and are supplying through leading retailers throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth they are now seeking a dynamic and driven National Account Manager to manage a portfolio of retail accounts.

As a National Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a selection of leading retail accounts.

Key duties of the role will include:
 - Achieve all revenue and margin targets set by the business.  Identify opportunities to expand distribution grow revenue and enhance profitability.  Be commercially aware of current trading position and that of your competitors and customers
 - Retain and develop your portfolio of clients ensuring you have an in-depth understanding of each clients objectives.  Support customers business and stakeholders to achieve their objectives, driving loyalty and retention
 - Ensure strategic account plans for each client are set and the start of each year and continually updated
 - Work with marketing department to develop a full annual promotional plan for each retailer in the portfolio, ensuring both profitability and adherence to each brands strategy
 - Seek out and activate new business opportunities through new product introductions, new accounts, new listings, extended distribution and incremental promotional space
 - Monthly analysis of account performance
- Effective forecasting, monthly reporting and regular business reviews

The successful candidate will have previous National Account Management experience, and be confident in managing large retail accounts.
You have will be results oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful business relationships.
