This client is looking for an internal sales and customer service led individual who can grow existing accounts whilst maintaining a professional brand image and high level of customer service.

  • Using internal IT applications, including SAP. work with tier four customers on a daily basis, promoting sales, providing trend information and promoting client
  • Following up customers, prospects and quotes on a systematic basis
  • Monitoring of overall sales performance of tier 4 customers, reporting on changes and finding solutions to changes in sales
  • Identifying new business opportunities, generating new accounts via outbound calling and promotions
  • Maintain log of all activities, outgoing calls and all customer events
  • Managing customer call via a schedule to ensure all tier four customers are contacted as per the agreed KPI's without exception
  • Producing KPI data for Head of Customer Response
  • Update customer price lists in line with in-house pricing systems
  • Prepare and submit quotations - follow up
  • Ensuring new customers experience the "Welcome window"
  • Checking all processes have been completed from daily schedule
  • To pro-actively build knowledge on products and systems, via training sessions, info-bites and self-learning
  • To proactively understand all Sales processes to support these and embed into the role
  • To actively promote the use of the web shop and on-line ordering
  • Any other duties as directed by management
  • To work with tier four customers to promote sales, identify changes in sales trends and promote new products
  • Manage follow up of existing tier four customers, prospects and quotations on a systematic basis
  • Build strong relationships with customers to maintain and grow existing accounts
  • Monitor the overall sales performance of tier four customers and take corrective actions to meet agreed sales targets
  • Identify new business opportunities to generate new accounts, to include a level of cold calling
  • Keep accurate record of all activities at all times - linked to agreed KPI's and performance measures
  • To represent the company to customers and others in a professional and courteous manner
  • To act as the intermediary between the customer and purchasing and logistics, for resolution of queries and issues arising
  • To support the Customer Response team in their day to day activities as required, which will include order and query management
  • To build up a high level of knowledge of products and services supplied


Outstanding team player with excellent time management skills, to ensure delivery of pre-determined KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)

Motivated, self starter who can operate and achieve results with minimum supervision, managing own workloads

Strong relationship development and communication skills to foster positive relationships both internally and externally

Identify opportunities to generate and deliver growth with tier four customers, supporting the development of company sales

Identify new business opportunities to generate new accounts, including a level of cold calling

A professional and courteous telephone manner, strong confidence in outbound calling to an extensive customer base

Clear understanding of the company's policies, particularly regarding acceptable standards of behaviour

Minimum of 2 years of proven customer sales/service experience

Educated to high standard of Maths and English

Previous experience in a similar role - B2B telemarketing or internal sales
