An EV & HEV R&D centre based in Lincoln are hiring Control Software Engineers to work with some of the industry's latest technologies and methodologies. They are less concerned with tick boxing of technologies but more excited by engineers who understand the philosophy of why and have the ambition and drive to learn and develop their talents!

The Future Technologies Team currently consists of around 10 engineers (Software, Systems, and Electronics), they are looking to hire 3 Control Software Engineers.

A recent company restructure and substantial investment means there is bags of potential to advance in this organisation.

The role will be focused on the research and development for new innovations within the EV & HEV market, previous projects have even been connected to breakthrough innovations for Formula 1 teams.

You will get the chance to learn market leading techniques and technologies for DSP, Embedded, Software, microcontrollers, Matlab, Simulink, Freescale, Motor Control & more.

If you have experience in the below technologies, they would like to speak with you. They don't expect any developer to know all of the skills, they are happy to train and on-board people, as long as you have experience in Control or Embedded Software and have a passion for learning new technologies, you'll fit in well here!

*Digital signal processing (DSP) and control systems design
*Embedded software programming and design for microcontrollers (Freescale ideal)
*Embedded software in C or C++
*Matlab or Simulink experience

The salary for the Control Software Engineer is between £30,000 to £50,000 plus a range of benefits.
