Page Personnel are now recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a well established well known retail business based in West Hull.
This well established retail business has seen considerable growth over the last few months due to the unique products they provide to their market. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team in West Hull.
The successful Accounts Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to: processing invoices on sage, obtain approval and allocate them to the appropriate payment run, conduct purchase ledger housekeeping and ensure payments and credit notes are allocated to the corresponding invoice, reconcile the Sterling bank account on a daily basis, post PayPal cash receipts on a daily basis, prepare midweek and month-end payment runs, prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations and ensure that any discrepancies are resolved with the supplier, process customer refunds in line with agreed upon procedures.
The successful candidate will have:
- Worked within an accounts position
- Assisted with some month end duties
- Strong Excel Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
£18,000 - £20,000 + Annual Bonus + 20 Days Holiday + Onsite Parking + Pension Scheme
